A Mixed media with a dash of fabric paints

Hello blogger peeps!! I am sharing a different card than my usual CAS type today.
I just finished making a mixed media card, and I wanted to share it right away ;) I have a couple more cards piled up, which all need to see the light soon...
Ok, I started with the lotus first. I used some fabric paints for this, **first time trying this. I sprayed some mist and then pressed the card stock till I was satisfied with the results.
(Only advice, I want to give here is - don't wait too long, the paints starts to dry fast, and it might stick to the surface, and you cannot pull your card without peeling the paper.)
Then I stamped the lotus using dusty concord, and heat embossed with clear embossing powder, and fuzzy cut to add this moment had no clue, how I would proceed with this lotus.

Next I used Tim Holtz's woodgrain stencil and sponged it using 3 shades of purple pigment ink.
I could have stopped here, but call me crazy ;) I wanted to add bokeh here( my latest CRAZE).
So used the HLS stamps in white pigment ink from Lawn Fawn, and some purple ink to stamp the bokeh. I would say you have extremely good eyes, if you can spot the white ink here is plenty of white ink used here though..
After that, I used a lavender card stock to frame the front, and chose a lighter shade of lilac as the base. I stamped the sentiment from HLS, and added a silver twine under the lotus, and finished off with 3 different size of rhine stones in purple, and a few sequins.
This is not my usual type of card, but I am happy that it turned out ok.

  The process:
The fabric paint on the acrylic block with the mist
  the card pressed against it.
 embossed lotus

I am linking this with a couple of challenges.
